First Time

Well, I am at work and writing my first post to our blog. I saw my best friends blog and had to make one myself. This is an exciting year for my family. We have purchased our first home ever!! It is located in Burlington, NC at Mackintosh on the Lake. It is a beautiful community located on a lake. We love our house. It has 4 bedrooms and a beautiful bonus room with a balcony that looks over the foyer. There are 3 bathrooms which is good for our family. After all Bella will be a teenage girl someday. LOL!! Our closing date is May 9th and we hope to move in the weekend after that. Another exciting thing about our new home is it is down the street from people we consider our second family around here. The Whitten's will be wonderful to live near. They may get sick of seeing us. LOL!! We chose this particular house because we loved the layout and it has a guest bedroom on the 1st floor with a full bathroom attached to it. That room will be Nana Blanchard's room when she comes down from Canada to visit.

When I went to the house yesterday to do some measurements Tjaden crawled up all the stairs, 15 in total, all by himself. Why? To get to his sister at the top of the stairs of course. He has no fear. We are in big trouble.
